Our Story
GJ Care Staffing, LLC was founded by a nurse and her husband (Grace and Jonah) with a vision to better coordinate and streamline the acquisition of temporary labor by healthcare facilities. Through her experience as a travel nurse working in the Mid-West (MN, ND, SD, IA and WI) and Jonah as her driver and babysitter, they understood the value for healthcare facilities to have a dedicated staffing service, which is what inspired them to start GJ Care.
Family is very important to GJ Care as reflected in the naming of our company. To honor our dedication to travel far and wide, mostly with our kids, and created the name, GJ Care, by combining first letters of our names, Grace and Jonah. Grace is Licensed Practical Nurse while Jonah is an Administrator. Our mantra is ‘We Are You’ because we believe in treating people the same way we would wish to be treated. This is the attitude all our staff must have. Treating people with compassion and as an end in themselves. GJ Care; We Are You.
